| This is the castle that was once home to a great king among the humans. During a time when the good races of the fantasy realm trusted each other and worked together a great deal more than they do now, and much of what now lies in ruins throughout the realms was at it's height of affluence and wisdom, this was the seat of learning and wisdom for all the humans of the realm as well as many of the other races. When it fell during the great dark times it was one of the saddest chapters in that long and sad tale and for many lifetimes it sat empty or home to hobgoblins and other unsavory types. Only recently has it been freed of such infestations and repopulated by humans. It now serves as one of the last trading hubs and places to rest on the road between the fantasy realm and the historic realm of human reality.
